Look no further than a simple, but delicious Panforte – a traditional Italian dessert containing fruits, nuts and spices. Normally served with coffee or dessert wine – but delicious at any time of the day! – it’s sweet and quite sticky, with warming and festive hints of cinnamon and cloves alongside the citrus flavours of cardamom. It will keep for several weeks if wrapped properly or stored in an air tight tin.
