Cooking Guidelines

Moroccan Fennel & Apricot Tagine Gourmet Cooking Sauce Serves 3 to 4. Kitchen to Table in 15 to 20 minutes
1) Heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil and stir-fry 3-4 diced chicken breasts for 5 minutes
2) Stir in the Fennel & Apricot Tagine Sauce and bring to a simmer
3) Serve hot with couscous, rice or salad
Moroccan Fennel & Apricot Tagine Gourmet Cooking Sauce is also good with lamb, vegetables or tofu.

    I think best is the tagine sauce to which I added some plums – seasonal glut so they go in everything, and chicken and veg.

    Great product, good price and perversely we are now going to buy online because Sainsburies took your sauce off their shelves.

    I have a very good Moroccan Tagine recipe that I make from scratch, but when I don’t have the time or enthusiasm, I use this sauce instead. Sadly, I have to be honest and admit that it’s every bit as good as my own recipe that takes so much time and effort. Top marks!!

    Add a tin of chick peas, a tin of kidney beans, some chopped prunes and toasted blanched almonds to this sauce and in only a few minutes you’ll have the best baked potato topping you could ever imagine. Blissful.

    I gave this a try as I thought it looked interesting. Really great sauce. So good I ordered some more.

    For my taste the only drawback was I like more liquid so it can soak into the rice but that I just personal preference. Next time I will just add a little water and some thickening.

    Great stuff, and looking forward to trying the other 2 that I bought.
