Fennel Seeds, Whole
Product Overview
Fennel seeds have a warm, sweet flavour with notes of aniseed and liquorice. They are typically dry fried to enhance their flavour and derive from the Foeniculum Vulgare plant, which is native to the Mediterranean isles.
The seeds are baked into Italian breads like focaccia or slow roasted with belly pork and oily fish. Try adding to homemade sauerkraut or chew after a meal to freshen your breath!
