Product Overview

Organic dried sage leaves are intensely musky with warm, peppery notes. Native to Eastern Europe and North Africa, the leaves are used to add flavour to chicken, turkey and roast pork. They are famously known as a key ingredient in Lincolnshire sausages.

Organic Sage is great when making your own stuffing for a roast dinner or mixed into creamy Italian sauces. Try dusting onto sweet potato wedges or butternut squash as an alternative to chips.

    I use Seasoned Pioneers dried herbs in a very simple meat-free stuffing (onion softened in butter, a bread crumbs with a mix of Seasoned Pioneers Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, sometimes Oregano or Parsley).

    I just learned a new cheat when I was feeling tired. I used extra stuffing that I had frozen to speed up making meatballs. My Bill Granger recipe calls for some bread, onion and herbs… so I cheated and used the leftover stuffing with some Seasoned Pioneers crushed read chillies and egg to make some speedy meatballs.
