1 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
3 portions of cubed beef (sirloin or rump preferably)
One pack of Vietnamese Kho Sauce
Carrots, parsnips or any other root vegetables, tossed and roasted in a little oil (optional)
Vietnamese Beef Kho
Heat the oil and stir-fry the cubed beef for 3 to 5 minutes (or to taste).
Stir in the Vietnamese sauce and bring to a simmer.
Top with roasted root vegetables (optional).
Serve hot with rice, noodles or crusty bread.
(This is also good with chicken, vegetables or tofu).
