This is the second time I’ve bought this fantastic spice mix. it is flavourful and doesn’t swamp the fish flavour. And as others have said it makes a chicken curry too! What a fabulous flavour…and so easy to make a stunning fish curry! I made a salmon curry last night and it has become an instant family favourite . Another hit from Seasoned Pioneers. I used exactly the amount suggested, and not too hot for our tastebuds…more fragrant than spicy.

Since I discovered this product, my fish curries have received such praise! They are now so easy to make too. I do not add quite so much of the mix as suggested on the packet because it is quite hot.
I add some of the ground kaffir lime leaves to the Seasoned Pioneer fish curry recipe. I agree with the other review that the pilau rice blend mix goes well and it too impresses with its authenticity

Before discovering SPs spice blends, I really wasn’t very good at making curry, they never turned out right. Now I can make food that tastes like it came from my favourite Indian restaurant.
I use the fish curry blend as a rub on salmon or chicken (just because it says fish on the label doesn’t mean it’s limited to fish) and it’s amazing. Sometimes I add coconut milk in the frying pan so there is a light sauce to pour over top. And I service with fried rice using the pilau rice blend.
