Sichuan Pepper, has a spicy sweet flavour with tangy notes. great simply rubbed on poultry and meat before roasting, grilling or frying. excellent with stir-fried vegetables
only the husks are used as Sichuan Pepper, the seeds are discarded. It is an integral ingredient in Chinese Five Spice and is also used in traditional Chinese medicine. they cause an unusual numbing tingly feeling in the mouth.
