Annatto Seeds, Ground
Annatto Seeds are ground in our factory by hand! This powder imparts a subtle peppery, tart flavour that enhances beef, prawns, pulses and vegetables. Annatto is used extensively within South America and the Caribbean.
The ground seeds are also used around the world as a natural food colouring and even for tribal war paint! You may be familiar with the famous orange shade of Red Leicester Cheese, which gets its colouring from Annatto.
