Shrove Tuesday – have a pancake bake!
There’s lots of spicy feasts to make.
An opportunity to grapple
With the mix and lots of apple!
Do not be a ‘pancake bore’,
With frying pan to the fore
Reach out and grab the Ginger pot –
Ground Cloves are good – but not a lot!
Tumeric‘s a healthy brew –
Fighting all that inflammation
(Sorry – too much information?!)
Allspice berries must be tried.
So many options to decide.
Invent it as you go along –
There’s no such thing as ‘pancake wrong’.
