Cardamom Masala is a wonderfully aromatic, sweet and spicy Indian blend. The cardamom, coriander seeds, cinnamon, red chillies, cumin, clove and toasted coconut make this a highly versatile blend. It is great mixed with a little yoghurt and coated over meat and/or poultry before leaving to marinate for hours.
This Indian spice blend is perfect for making Chicken Cardamom Masala, Parsnip, Pea and Carrot Curry or Masala Rice. Cardamom Masala can also be used for seasoning finished mild curries like Korma or Pasanda for a nice kick.
Our Cardamom Masala was also featured in Delia Smith’s recipe for Shami Kebabs in her cookbook ‘How to Cheat at Cooking’ (page 39).
