6 bananas
120g plain flour
60 rice flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla flavouring
250ml water
1 egg
250ml cooking oil
Cinnamon for topping
Honey for topping

Method

Step 1:

In a mixing bowl, combine the plain flour, rice flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla flavouring and mix well.

Step 2:

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the water. Pour into the mixing bowl with the other ingredients and mix until it forms a batter.

Step 3:

Cut the bananas in half lengthways and add to the batter. Leave for 10 minutes.

Step 4:

On a medium flame, heat the cooking oil in a wok and fry the bananas until golden brown.

Step 5:

Top the bananas with honey and cinnamon, and serve with your favourite ice cream (we think vanilla works best!).
