Kaffir Lime Leaves Freeze-Dried
Kaffir lime leaves, or Citrus Hystrix in Latin, are clean, sharp and citrus in flavour and scent. Cultivated in the subtropics of South East Asia, these lime coloured leaves are grown around the lumpy Asian lime. The fragrant leaves are freeze-dried to ensure maximum freshness and a punchy flavour.
Kaffir lime leaves are a staple in Indonesian and Thai cuisine, where they are used to flavour and infuse broths, soups, sauces and sweet treats. They are vital to create traditional Thai curry paste. We use these leaves to make our Thai Panang Gourmet Cooking Sauce and Indonesian Rendang Gourmet Cooking Sauce.
