Paprika, Mild Sweet Spanish
Mild sweet paprika has a sweet flavour with tangy notes. Traditionally, the pepper dries in the sun before being milled into a fine powder. Unlike its cousin pimenton dulce, the powder does not have a smoky taste.
Mild sweet paprika is a worldwide spice, used in Mexican spice blends such as fajita and Moroccan ras-el-hanout. Add this paprika to meat, fish and shellfish marinades or sprinkle over boiled eggs. Alternatively stir through fish or chicken batter, use in potato and pasta salads or even a risotto!
