Char Masala Organic

Organic Char Masala has a sweet flavour with no heat. The handcrafted blend consists of cassia, cumin, cardamom green and clove buds. This is a wonderfully versatile spice mix, often used in coalition with rice dishes.

Char Masala has mixed origins, with roots in both Indian and Afghanistan Cuisine. These neighbouring countries heavily influence the other’s cuisine. In Indian cooking, Char Masala flavours lentils and pulses. Within Afghanistan, the blend is favoured in rice dishes, specifically in Qabli Pulao which is considered their national dish.
