200g brown sugar
120g unsalted butter
180g plain flour
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 cooking apple, chopped into very small chunks
50g milk chocolate chopped into small chunks
Before you start, preheat the oven to 190 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and egg. Mix until well combined.
Add in flour, cinnamon, salt and bicarbonate of soda. Continue to mix.
Add in apple and chocolate. Mix until well combined.
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Separate the cookie dough into 12 equally sized balls. Place each ball on the tray with 2 inches of space between each one.
Bake between 8 to 10 minutes or until you see the cookies are golden brown in colour.
