Chilean Aliño, or Aliño Completo, is a sweet and tart herbal blend consisting of rosemary, sage, marjoram, thyme, tarragon, mint, oregano and lemon balm. The blend is used throughout South America as either a rub for meat, poultry and fish or to flavour soups and casseroles.
Chilean Aliño is great used as dip for bread or as a salad dressing when mixed with a little oil. Try using in a classic bolognese, tomato and roasted red pepper soup or chilli con carne for a herbal lift. Try in homemade burger patties or meatballs with garlic, Australian Murray river salt, mixed peppercorns and a pinch of roasted chilli flakes.
