Kashmiri Masala is a spicy-sweet and aromatic blend. It is used to create many traditional dishes from the Kashmir region, which is known for its fragrant food. For example, iconic curries such as Rogan Josh originate from the Kashmir Valley.
Traditionally, many Kashmiri curries are a blend of meat and fruits like lychees, pineapples and bananas with cream and coconut. Dishes can easily be made spicy with the addition of Kashmiri Chillies.
Try mixing a few teaspoons with yoghurt and slather over some lamb, then roast for hours. Follow our recipe here.

Please don’t stop producing this great curry blend. It’s one of my favourites. The depth of flavour, with a faint hint of sweetness, possibly brought out by the lamb can’t be bested. Keep up your very good work Pioneers !

Oh how I have been looking forward to receiving this Masala ! Leg of lamb coated with a mix of yoghurt, Kashmiri Masala and oil for the authentic
flavour. .Up to now I have used ordinary “curry powder”. Not bad but ……
