Hungarian paprika has a sweet, rounded flavour with slightly tart notes. The vibrant red powder is a staple within Hungarian kitchens and is vastly different to Spanish versions such as pimenton picante and pimenton dulce because it lacks their smoky flavour.

Hungarian paprika is a vital ingredient within the classic Hungarian dish Goulash and Paprika Chicken (Paprikás Csirke). Try using in pasta dishes or as a seasoning for potatoes.
