In ancient times, cinnamon was considered a precious and valuable commodity, often being more expensive than gold. It was traded along the famous Silk Road and other trade routes with various European Empires fighting fiercely to control its production and supply.

This cinnamon has a lovely warm and sweet taste I use it on everything I possibly can including baked apples, bananas, home made cakes, porridge and more!
